To show the versatility and flexibility of the three main modules Bay, Boundary and Hub, the animation to be created should dynamically and fluently reflect the different elements, their color variance and the application purpose in the work context. The animation was also to be adapted to a supplied music/sound file. The basis for the implementation was a storyboard created by the client, which roughly depicted the processes in keyframes and thus provided the framework for the animation. Additional scenes and ideas were added during the course of the process. All coordination steps within the production were documented purely digitally via Nextcloud and Frame.io in a continuous exchange between Steelcase’s marketing/product department and gloss.
